Lake Named for "Teddy"

Located adjacent to the Shawnee State Park campgrounds off State Route 125 Roosevelt Lake offers visitors fishing, swimming, picnic areas and a shelter house.

The 28-acre lake was constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1935 and is named in honor of conservationist and 26th President of the United States Theodore Roosevelt.
